We are meeting on the "third Thursday," at the Jefferson County Extension Office, 2606 West Burlington Ave., Fairfield, Iowa. This blog will include information about both community service and educational opportunities as they become available.

Maasdam Barns are Beginning to Look Great!

At least SOME Master Gardeners work! I couldn't make it. Just to let all of you know, the Russ O'Hara Hosta Society will have their annual garden tour and auction on Sunday June 24 in the Roland, Jewell, Ames area from 8-4. Last year Kim and a couple other gardeners went with me. Would love to have several go. I have to leave that event early to go to a meeting in Ames around 4 and won't get home very early. Some could go with me, but would need another way home. Great opportunity to meet new folks, see great gardens and maybe purchase some new (at least to you) hostas. Julie
